How to install a Powered Grommet Cover:
- First, remove the basic grommet cover from the grommet hole if you haven’t already. The powered grommet cannot be installed on top of the basic grommet cover.
- Second, twist the “locking ring” off the bottom of the unit. This is what will secure the powered grommet to the desk.
- Finally, drop the power grommet into the grommet hole so that the rubber washer is between the desktop surface and the unit. Then screw the locking ring back onto the bottom of the powered grommet until it’s tight against the underside of the desk.
