What is a grommet?

Certain Fully desktops include one or two pre-drilled holes -- called “grommet holes” -- for cable and wire management. Every Remi Standing Desk includes grommet holes, and select Jarvis desktops are available with or without them. You can pass your phone, power, and computer cords through the grommet holes and plug them in directly, or organize them in a Wiretamer Cable Tray affixed to the underside of your desk.

Use the ‘Design my own’ feature on the product detail page to view the grommet options for that desk or desktop. All grommeted desktops will include plastic covers with a sliding opening to help with cable or wire management.

If your desktop is grommeted, you’ll also have the option of purchasing a Powered Grommet Cover. Powered Grommet Covers fit right into the grommet hole of your desktop in place of the standard plastic cover, and allows you to charge one AC device and one USB-A device at the same time.
