Can I repair scratches or scuffs on my Natural Bamboo products?

Yes! Here are some simple, inexpensive tips to minimize the appearance of imperfections.

  1. Use #240 sandpaper to smooth out the entire area.
  2. Apply Minwax over the affected area (following the manufacturer’s instruction).

  3. Mix two parts Old English Scratch Cover for Light Woods and one part Old English Oil.
  4. Rub this into the area using a microfiber cloth and let sit for a while.
  5. Rub off the excess and repeat as necessary. This restores color to the scratched area and protects the bamboo from moisture.
  6. Re-apply some over-the-counter polyurethane clear coat for wood.
