My Jarvis reverses directions when I raise it or seems to raise on its own.

If your Jarvis reverses direction or stops intermittently when you try to raise it, something may be triggering the anti-collision feature by mistake. The anti-collision feature is designed to keep your desk from damaging itself or other objects if it collides during movement.

If your desk isn’t colliding with anything but is still acting up, this can usually be resolved with simple troubleshooting:

  • Ensure that your desk is even and that the lifting columns are parallel with one another.
  • Check for loose or dangling cables.
  • Make sure your control box is attached to your desktop as described in the assembly instructions.
    • If you aren't using the included screws or capture plate ( on the Wide frame), your control box may not be properly secured.
